Profile

I specialize in 17th and 18th French Imperial History, with my research interests centered on French colonial endeavors in South Asia. My doctoral exam fields were Imperial History (major field), World History (minor field), and Modern European History (minor field).

Basically, I know a lot about France, Empires, and Revolutions in the 18th Century. I am currently working on my PhD, but taking a break from academia after passing my exams. I've taught a wide variety of courses in History, ranging from History 101/Western Civ. to History of the Internet.
