I recently sought editing assistance from Essaygeek for my academic paper, specifically requesting both a revision of my existing content and the addition of new information to meet the standards expected of a master’s-level paper. I also asked that the paper be properly formatted in APA style, anticipating a polished final product. Unfortunately, instead of revising and refining my original material, Essaygeek merely added new content, failing to address the core issues I had identified. My explicit request for APA compliance was largely overlooked. Even after I asked that the paper be revisited and refined to adhere to APA guidelines a second time, one section was merely copied and pasted without the proper formatting applied. Additionally, the title page and author’s note were never updated to conform to 7th edition APA standards, as they contained missing or incorrect elements such as running heads, page numbers, and spacing.
